Invitation to Participate Djarum Foundation Delegation for London International Model United Nations (LIMUN) University Conference 2025

Dear Beswan Djarum,

Djarum Foundation’s International Exposure (IE) program is a testament to Djarum Foundation’s strong commitment to education and its effort to further nurture Beswan Djarum’s capabilities as a vital element for the nation’s development. The IE program provides qualified Beswan Djarum recipients with a priceless opportunity to represent Indonesia and Djarum Foundation in a prestigious international competition, where you can compete with the best from all parts of the world. Following a longstanding tradition of excellence in past competitions, including those held in Boston (2013), London (2014), Seoul (2015), Maastricht (2016), Rome (2017), Sydney (2018), Singapore (2019), Paris (2023), and Taipei (2024), we proudly invite you to join the Djarum Foundation Delegation for the London International Model United Nations – University Conference (LIMUN) 2024, in London, United Kingdom.

In 1946, delegates representing 51 countries gathered in the Central Westminster Hall in London for the first session of the United Nations General Assembly, making London an important part to the history of the United Nations. More than 50 years later, university students in London hosted the first London Model United Nations, which was renamed to LIMUN in 2007. The conference attracts more than 1,000 delegates from countries in Europe and around the world and is among the most prestigious student-led Model United Nations conferences. If you have a curious mind with an ardent desire to learn, a winning mentality, and an aspiration to build a global network, this impeccable experience will elevate you to the next level.

This program is open for qualified Beswan Djarum across all departments and study programs. Once accepted, you will experience an intensive training program, specifically designed to help you master all things MUN, starting from the foundation, all the way to putting them into practice. Welcoming both beginners and seasoned alike, the training program will be a valuable development process that you cannot find anywhere else. In the end, you will conclude the program a mature, more skillful, more competent professional ready for the world, and up for bringing glory for Indonesia and Djarum Foundation. Those delegates accepted who satisfyingly complete the training program will take part in LIMUN 2025 with all relevant expenses covered by Djarum Foundation.

Why You Should Join the Program

After graduating from university, you will face various challenges in a volatile, complex, and unpredictable environment. You must master a diverse set of soft skills to be able to quickly adapt, collaborate, and overcome any obstacles. The IE program and Model United Nations will advance your competence in leadership, problem solving, critical thinking, and diplomacy.
